I have been actively involved in the financial markets as a trader, market strategist, algorithm developer and trading educator for over 30 years. I spent the late '90s and early 2000s learning and perfecting my craft, consuming as much information on market price behaviour and trading techniques as possible. After completing the CMT Program in 2004, I started to develop my own proprietary trading algorithms ('HF SYSTEMS') based upon observation of market price dynamics which I used in my analysis and personal trading. My first proprietary trading role was for a UK family office in 2007-2009 where I traded spot FX and futures (Crude Oil, S & P 500 index, Gold, T-Bonds) producing solid returns over an 18-month period with minimal drawdowns. Moving to Switzerland in 2009, I ran 'HF SYSTEMS' as a trading signals service exclusively for the clients of a Swiss bank where I held the role of Chief Market Strategist. Due to the demands of clients wanting me to manage their trading accounts I went independent in 2012, setting up as a regulated independent asset manager where I managed client funds under LPOA agreements. Since January 2020 I have run a range of products and services aimed at new and improving traders. These have included market timing services via Telegram, personalised trader training/mentoring courses delivered online and the setting up and management of a trading academy for retail traders. I have been a member of the CMT Association since 1999 and was one of the first holders of the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation outside the US (attained in 2004).
